How cool can a CNY cake be??? Check this out man!!! Rather tasty though it’s a little sweet.

I LOVE my colleagues. I really do! Enjoyed our illegal mini CNY celebration during office hours; had pineapple tarts, lime coke, almond cookies, peanut cookies along with Wanting’s CNY festive songs playing at the background!

Oh ya, my verdict on Donut Factory’s donuts. Very soft and tasty, but not fantastic. Ar-ah, not ever gona queue for it again. No way!

If it wasn’t for Sandy and Teresa or if it wasn’t for Wanting’s birthday, I doubt I will ever queue and buy one of these donuts to try! The queue was HORRIBLE! Sandy text me to hurry me down as there are 5 more persons to their turn. Mind you, they have been queuing since 12pm!!! *salutes* Charlene and I arrived around 1.30pm and joined in their queue. We didn’t get our donuts till 2.30pm!!!! I begin to wonder if the donuts are really delicious or their service is simply slow or maybe Singaporeans simply love to queue. Well, I’ll taste it and let you know if it’s nice but one thing for sure, I ain’t gona queue again. *shakes head*

We decided to “reward” ourselves after packing for the entire day. Fish n Chips, Sakae Sushi and 2 VENTI JAVA CHIP FRAPs. Hahaha… *YUMMY* I thought I missed Chinese food rather badly when I was in Europe, only to discover I missed sushi a lot more. I can never get sick of eating sushi.

While packing my room, I found a lot of old toys I used to play and my thoughts going back to years ago when I was a little girl. Cabbage patch kids, smurfs, my little pony, strawberry shortcake, ninja turtles…, the very-hip-autograph books consisting of all my friends’ bio, ex-bf letters… I sat there recollecting every special moment I have had. Decided to donate most of my plushies and storybooks to the orphanage or The Salvation Army; and yes, they are still in very good condition. Im definitely keeping some of the more precious ones aka the more retro ones and will display them after the renovation.

Came across 2 photos dated 10yrs back, looking at it makes me wonder how Jonathan and Lawrence are. It’s a pity we lost touch. Time certainly waits for no man… it’s funny, life. it seems yesterday the one person who would obviously be the first to know everything has now regress to not knowing at all. i wanna laugh, i wanna laugh at the idiosyncrasies of living. i do wanna mock, point and swear. bugger.

2 sushi fanatics have this sudden urge for sushi one working afternoon and decided to meet up at the nearest Sakae Sushi during their lunch break and stuffed themselves with all the sashimi, Hana Maki n more… its hard to find a buddy / khaki who will do crazy stuffs with ya yet im blessed with 2, Sam n Angie. Sam and I were happily savoring our sushi for 1hr while talking about her wedding plans before rushing back to our office respectively. Hahaha… 

 

 

Ting dear, I know we haven’t met for quite a while now due to my overwhelming schedule but your support and understanding each day cheers me up and gave me much strength to carry on my “battle”. Will try to catch up with u soon… *hugs*

 

Ah rong lao ban niang, your shop has been opened for weeks now? You not only not blamed me for not being able to make it yet u continues to encourage me to go on and fight my “battle” now. Felt even more ashamed. You are the bestest lah. Will drop by soon and bring customers to your shop! Congrats once again on your dream come true.

 

Wana make a quick shoutout to my fellow audio-ians here too. I LOVE my job n I LOVE you guys lah… lunch has never been more fun and crazy with you guys around. Mariam my partner n shopping khaki, Norimah my joker and cabby partner, Wanting my super straightforward n cute erjie, Teresa my ah mui n sweetie, Joshy my ho-happy n die-hard fan, lastly keefy my jiejie and Chinese dictionary. You guys ROCKZ!!!

How I miss shopping… you better believe it, I havent shopped for more than 2 months now. It will all pay off when i see my new crib aka the next happening place. haha…
