Belle and I were talking about friendships and I like how she quoted “often many frens are jus passerby in our life. But i guess all passerby do leave their traces in a way or an0ther.”

I agree cos it’s through these we find and see who our true friends are. I think I’m sort of numb in this department. Those that I feel not in the right click, not of the same frequency, don’t make effort, lie all the time and naturally, I won’t hesitate to withdraw myself and stay away. Why waste my love and effort? Afterall, your lost, not mine.

Anyway I doubt I will have time to blog after today so I’ll see you all next year! I’m not one who sets resolutions cos I never stick by it, so what’s the point of having one. This year I have a few I hope will be fulfilled. 1 of which; driving license! I think I shouldn’t procrastinate no more and do it! D says he wishes to ride again and wants me to have laoda. I’m very grateful to the wonderful blessed 2008. Let’s hope 2009 brings even better vibrant than before. Cheerios!

nye’s steamboat! December 30, 2008

Since 23^rd Dec, I have been sleeping around 5, 5 ish am and Sunday was the only day I manage to sleep really late and rest a bit more. I think I woke up so late I couldn’t sleep till 6am Monday, 29^th Dec! Now I am feeling really zombiefied and it doesn’t help with my running nose. Love and Bud are craving for steamboat and we decided to have it for our New Year Countdown tomorrow! Love is getting prawns and fish and I’m getting D to go marketing for me since I have to work! Hahahaha… Belle won’t be joining us as she has her own countdown with her family and aunt. Unless I tie my dogs, else Rong will never dare to drop by. Hahahaha Dear is coming too but Mr Chia can’t confirm. D says Mr Chia better come lah, I don’t want to be the only man among the ladies. I said it’s alright D, you can be our ‘DA DA JIE’. Hahaha I intend to make this a girly affair as D is working till 8ish. I am excited for the countdown but am tooooo tired to do a thing now. A little disappointed after receiving bud sms this morning saying she has to be with the kids afterall and won’t be able to join us. No steamboat for you!

I was soooooo tired yesterday I scare myself by locking myself in the lift! LOL yes, you heard me right! I stepped into the lift pressed 1 and closed the door. Dazing into space, believing the lift is heading down till the lights went out! I was screaming as it was pitch black and I started to reach to press any of the buttons at the side in hope of finding the alarm. Lights were back and the lift is heading 6^th floor! In the midst of panicking, I must have accidentally pressed 6. And also because of this, I realize I must have either forgotten to press the button or I didn’t press it hard enough for the lift to detect. Silly me… scared myself for nothing!

26.12.08 Boxing Day December 28, 2008

Jo, aka Love, celebrated Xmas with me on 26.12.08. We meet up for lunch at Np before heading to my place. It’s been a while since we last catch up. Like you said, even though we missed out over the past years, you wont look back and have regrets cos u know we’ll have a longer friendship down the years…  

 

Simple yet heartwarming and fun Xmas spent. I will also fill in the blanks when my brain is working. 23^rd house cleaning and wrapping of presents, 24^th noon lunching with Godson and evening counting down with Jen, 25^th with the gang and 26^th cousin’s wedding. Today is the only day I can sleep in late… enjoy the slide 1^st ya? ;0)

 

 

25.12.08 Christmas December 28, 2008

Christmas Day 25.12.08, at my crib with the usual gang; dear n huby, Benson, Hanwen and Bud. Im very happy cos this is the 1^st time Bud celebrated Xmas with me on the actual day itself. She is usually busy with family celebrations and church activities on this big day.

 

This is actually my best Christmas ever! I feel super blessed and loved. Very fulfilling celebrations since 24^th Dec till 26^th with all my love ones. I would love to blog more but I’m really tired so I am gona just post up pics 1^st and fill in the blanks when my brain is up and working.

24.12.08 Xmas Eve Nite December 26, 2008

TCM appt was canceled and I took a short nap till 7ish. Jen called and we agreed to meet around 7.30pm. It was storming madly and we decided to meet at np for dinner and to source for tibits and fondue ingredients. Went to HKG Café for dinner. The restaurant blasted loud techno music making it impossible to chat. LOL… I couldn’t enjoy my food.

After buying everything we needed, we headed back to my place for our movie marathon, tibits snacking, Xmas counting down and pictures whoring. LOL Jen stayed over and fell in love with my comforter… HAHAHAHA… she says she wants to come over a lot more often… no problem sis. Anyhow, thanks for your 2^nd surprise. I really love it. Such a coincidence, I almost most bought the blue one when I was out shopping with D. I am very glad you love your gifts too.  

 

Ok, I gotto go clean the house a little more and wait for all my guests to come. Xmas Day with love ones… ^_________________^

24.12.08 Xmas Eve Lunch December 25, 2008

Was at work distributing and receiving Xmas present this morning… wanted to finish 1 program but ended doing nothing. Hahaha… Christmas mood lah. Heading out with my godson for our Xmas lunch. D picked Mama and me from work and head over to pick up Bang and Umar whom I lovingly call Fatty. We are heading for Swenson at Causeway Point. Fatty had enough sleep thus he was really cheery. D and I believed he somehow recognizes us. Fatty would always throw a little tantrum whenever D carried him. LOL today, it was perfect! Thanks to sufficient sleep, Barney Plushie (one of the present we got him), and the fact that we think he remembers us makes it picture perfect. D had sooooooo much fun playing with him. I carried him to the nursing room with Mama and I was breathless! Fatty weighing at 8ish kg… no joke! LOL Fatty was feeling really chatty and I had sooooooo much fun hugging, kissing and playing with him.

 

After ordering our ice creams, Fatty started yawning and while mama was cajoling him, he found himself a good comfy spot on the table and lay his face on it. Barely 5mins, he fell asleep and started drooling!!!!!!! Sooooooooooooo cute can! LOL even the family seated beside us couldn’t stop laughing. We presented Umar with his Xmas gifts; Barney Plushie, Barney haversack and a pair of Fox’s shoes. Thanks Bang and Mama for the treat.

 

After dropping them at their flat, Mama gave me a surprise Xmas gift! THANKS lah babe… paiseh leh… now I can get really really nice bedsheets. The one I wanted. Love u lots… I hope you love yours too.

 

D has to work and I’m off to meeting Jen for my TCM appointment. After that we’ll go tibits and fondue shopping before heading back to my place for a movie marathon! Not forgetting counting down to Xmas.

 

Happy Xmas everyone… I better head to bed now for I have a party coming up later afternoon! Yey…

Erica Eden Ong, my little Japanese girl, is 9yrs old now. Time flies… When Masami (my Japanese presenter) bought her to work, she was only 4 and I remembered her dancing and singing to S.H.E song with her funny Chinese accent. I was immediately attracted to this outspoken and smart girl. Remembered how she liked me and became protective of me. Always telling me sweet things and never fail to make me laugh. She will always sit with me and draw me pictures when her mother is in a recording. I adored her so much I wished she was mine. Haha today she was whispering to me “Mag Jie Jie, I have something for u. I made this Xmas card for you. I remembered you love green and gold colour.” Everyone say awwwwwwwww now…

22.12.08 Xmas Dinner With Belle December 23, 2008

Babe and I went to NYNY AMK Hub for our Xmas dinner… I seem to be a frequent eater there… hahahaha… anyhow, it’s my 1^st visit with Belle.

 

We had a good time eating, cam whoring as usual, and catching up. She totally surprised me with her gifts! I’ve always wanted a pair of earphones for when I’m watching Gossip Girl on my lappy, I always have to compete volume with D! LOL Belle got me a striking green one and I absolutely love it. Thanks babe. I have been taking this super duper bitter TCM medicine aka poison, I never never expected Belle to surprise me with something sooooooo very sweet and thoughtful! She bought me my favourite M&M peanut butter chocolates and put them in a jar she decorated. She then told me this: “TCM is yucky! Therefore for every yucky time you go thru, I’m in the form of an M&M to keep you company.” I am seriously touched babe. Thank you so much. I was soooo touched; you should have captured it in pics. LOL this present is soooo very thoughtful, sweet and warm. This will really bring a smile to my face after each yucky TCM. Hugs…

  

 

I’m equally happy you love your surprises. I can tell you loved it lots too! I’m sorry you have to hold back surprise number 2 and not reveal it yet. On 26^th itself, you may reveal, upload pics and blog about it ok? =0) After dinner and 2nd round, D picked us up and we had a full of laughter ride back. D was happily exposing my deeds to Belle while she laughs and teases me badly… LOL…

 

 

 

 

Good or No Good? December 22, 2008

We receive news today that besides 13^th month and pay increment, we have additional bonus of quite a not bad sum. We were all happy till we read this “13^th month and additional bonus will be paid to you end of Jan 2009.’ HUH… isn’t 13 month supposed to be received this month end? What happens to bills for Xmas, CNY on 26^th Jan?! I feel soooooo broke!!! Oh ya, I thought I lost all passion for my job a few months back yet recently I have this very strong feeling that I still love what I’m doing and I think I will be in this line longer than expected. =0)

 

I know it’s better than nothing and I should be really really thankful and grateful… I am… sigh, at least I know all the hardwork are not done in vain…

 

Babe, don’t worry too much. I will definitely keep a lookout for you. You will be fine. I know that. As long as you try hard enough, you will see the end results. I will be here rooting for you thru the entire race and be your cushion to fall onto. Xoxo…
